Sally is, without exaggeration, the best photographer I have ever worked with — and hiring her was the single best decision we made for our wedding. She specializes in elopements (which I always dreamed of), but since my partner wanted a family wedding, we decided on a destination wedding at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Utah. Sally didn’t just adapt — she elevated the entire experience. She brought the magic, artistry, and intimacy of an elopement into our full wedding day and made it feel entirely “us.” From the very beginning, Sally went so far above and beyond. I have no idea how many hours she spent location scouting, but it felt like we had a personal guide to every breathtaking hidden spot in the area. She uses special location-scouting tools and gave us a curated list of photo spots that matched our vibe perfectly — a total dream for a couple trying to plan a million other things. Months before the wedding, a park manager casually mentioned that Sally had already reached out to secure permits for photo access. I mean…who does that? She thinks ten steps ahead at all times. On the wedding morning, when I realized I had somehow lost my veil (of course), Sally didn’t flinch. She pulled out a sewing kit and, with the help of one of my bridesmaids, literally helped sew together a last-minute veil. It was amazing — and it looked beautiful in the photos. Speaking of the photos — we got our sneak peeks three days after the wedding, and I genuinely gasped. Every single image was next-level gorgeous. Nearly every comment I got when I posted them was some variation of: “WHO was your photographer?!” Sally is an artist. She captures light, emotion, and beauty in a way that is rare and wildly special. Her work is full of heart, intention, and experience — and you can feel it in every frame.If you are lucky enough to work with Sally, you will get more than just stunning photos. You will get peace of mind, an insanely skilled professional, and a human being who will show up for you in every way. She is worth every single penny — and honestly, more. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat.

Getting married is one of the best, but let’s be honest, most stressful times of your life. I can easily say the process would have not been nearly as easy, fun, beautiful or any of the good things without Sally. When we found her, I knew I would get a fantastic photographer, but I didn’t know I would gain a friend who I felt so lucky to share my day with. She made sure everything ran smoothly and everyone knew where to be, scouted our location, made a process that can feel awkward feel like home, and kept me sane not only on my elopement day but in the full year leading up to it. I don’t think i could ever recommend her enough, but if you book her you will for sure have the very best day of your life!

Sally did such an amazing job and made us feel so special. She gave us such good directions to make memorable shots while also listening to what we thought would look good. She even made our dog photogenic. My husband and I cannot recommend her enough and in 25 years we hope to have her photograph our vow renewal. Her nature shots are amazing too; one day she will be featured in National geographic. These are just our first look photos by the way which she got back to us in less than 12 hours.

My husband Travis and I cannot say enough incredible things about Sally! She isn't just a photographer that shows up the day of the ceremony to take photos. She is with you from day one, helping to plan things out, making sure that all of your needs are met, and making sure that you remember to breathe and have fun along the way! From the moment we booked Sally for our big day, she was SO incredibly involved in making sure she understood exactly what we wanted and the vibes we were going for. There were many questions asked so she could understand our wants, don't wants, nice to have's, and need to haves. Sally helped us to scout out the specific locations that we had our photos taken at and even looked into all of the rules and requirements for each area. On the day of, she met us nice and early to make sure she captured all of the personal getting ready photos before we went out for our ceremony. My husband and I had some tricky hikes involved in a couple of our locations and Sally was FEARLESS coming along with us and even leading the way. She didn't let the tricky hiking get in the way of the absolute PERFECT shots. One moment that stood out to me on our day was that about halfway through, Sally stopped us, pulled us back together, and told us to just breathe- to just soak in the day. She said not to worry about actually taking the photos.. the photos would happen naturally.. that the most important part of our day was my husband and I being present, there, with each other. I owe her a lot for that alone and it was such a special moment to ground us in. After everything was said and done, Sally got us a little sneak peek SO fast- it was honestly surprising the amount of work she had to have done so quickly. The sneak peek and then later down the road the full album of photos were absolutely incredible. She captured moments that seemed SO big and outside of us, but then also captured such tiny intimate moments. We couldn't be happier with our photos, our experience, and just with Sally. The only issue we now have is that we do not have enough wall space for all of the photos we want to put up- we can't pick! Words can't explain how amazing Sally is- book her.

Choosing Sally as our elopement photographer was the best choice we’ve ever made! From day one Sally was invested in helping my husband Dominick and I create our perfect day. She has a laid back style and warm personality that helps even the most anxious person(Me!) feel at ease and made it so that we never felt uncomfortable, whether it was in front of the camera or with any of the details leading up to the big day. But our absolute favorite part of working with Sally is her attention to detail. When we first booked with her, we got a welcome package with her curated guide to elopements, as well as some other cute goodies. After our wedding, we received a package with a framed photo from our wedding day and a thank you from Sally for allowing her to be a part of our special day. We can’t thank Sally enough for our stunning photos and for being such a big part of making our wedding day so memorable!!

From the time we booked with Sally, it was clear that she is experienced, genuinely loves her work, and takes the time to really understand clients’ visions for their day. In initial video consult, she was direct about the best times/lighting for photos, yet flexible and willing to plan our day just the way we wanted. She was fast in responding (almost immediate) and responsive to any/all questions or requests ahead of time. Sally not only traveled to Utah and woke up at 3 AM with us to capture sunrise photos—she stayed with us and sustained her energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism for the next 9 hours or so. (We parted ways in the afternoon but think she might have kept going for another 9 hours if our party hadn’t all been ready for a nap!) The photo sessions themselves were fun, adventurous, and lighthearted. Sally is true to her style, which is to capture her subjects as their authentic selves—resulting in a mix of traditional portraits and more whimsical, natural, and candid shots. We love our photos!
